Goal 14
Look after the oceans — before there's nothing left to look after.
SDG 14 is one of 17 goals the UN agreed on back in 2015. It has ten targets to protect life below water by 2030, like cutting pollution and stopping destructive fishing.
The ocean covers 71% of the planet. It makes about half the oxygen we breathe and soaks up around 30% of our carbon emissions. If the sea's in trouble, so are we.
